In 2018, I had the chance to spend 5 months as an intern at LEGO® System A/S in Denmark. I contributed to the sets for 2020 in the „LEGO® 4+“ team as a model designer. My tasks included concept generation, building and also product testing. I had the opportunity to work in an international team and to gain valuable insights in creative design processes, design management and prototyping.
Among other exciting projects I designed these two sets during my internship. During the design process the sets were tested by different departments (Marketing, Product Safety etc.) and also regularly tried out by children in the Kids Test. Final adjustments and packaging were designed after my internship was over.
